Salvia ‘Amistad’

Dramatic, deep purple, exotic looking blooms are produced from spring until autumn if you deadhead this perennial regularly.   A stunning new cultivar which the bees love.

Planted beneath roses,  salvias help to keep black spot and mildew at bay.

Grow in full sun to light shade, in humus rich soil.  Frost hardy.  Apply a 2-3 inch mulch of compost or bark around the base of the plant in spring or autumn.  It will die back and grow again the following year.  Eventual H 1m x S 50cm.
