Eucalyptus gunnii – Cider Gum Tree

A most attractive evergreen tree with glaucous blue round foliage when young and grey green long leaves on adult plants.  Its decorative, peeling bark adds interest too. It is fast growing but can be pruned hard each year to retain the blue juvenile foliage and keep size in check.  Good for year round colour at the back of a border or as a specimen tree.  Perfect for cutting and using in floral displays.

Grow in full sun in a sheltered position when young.  Prefers slightly acid soil. Can be grown in a large pot and trimmed regularly to keep as a small tree. Unpruned it will eventually reach approximately 12 m high x 8 m spread.  Supplied in 9 cm pot ready to plant out.  SORRY. OUT OF STOCK.
