Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum ‘Kilimanjaro’

This stunning shrub was the winner of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year in 2015.  It naturally forms a pyramid shape, with spreading layered branches, clothed in deeply-veined dark green leaves which turn red-purple in autumn.  Dense white flower heads, produced in abundance during late spring, age to pale pink and are followed by masses of deep red berries maturing to black.  More flowers are borne in late summer.  Perfect at the back of a border or as a specimen shrub in the lawn.

Full sun or part shade in any moist, well-drained soil. Eventual H & S approximately 3m.
