Tulip ‘Black Hero’

A beautiful, rich blackcurrant purple, peony flowered tulip. Perfect in a sunny border or containers. Fabulous in bouquets or flower arrangements, making a long lasting cut flower. This image shows stems that were cut when in bud and have been in a vase for 10 days, still looking fresh!

Flowers from April to May. 60cm tall. A hardy perennial which will come back each spring.

Plant October – December,  15-20cm deep in fertile, well-drained soil with added grit. Deadhead after flowering and leave the foliage to die back before removing.

Supplied as 10 bulbs.  Dispatch from September 2022.
