Sunflower Claret F1

Stunning wine-red blooms on branching multi-headed plants.  Perfect for the back of a sunny border. Fast growing and flowers July – September.  Ideal as an impressive cut flower as it has no pollen. Seeds are edible and can be eaten as a snack or used for bird seed.  Flower bud is edible and has a delicate flavour but once opened becomes bitter.
