Sambucus nigra ‘Black Lace’ – Elderflower

A beautiful, easy to grow shrub, with umbels of many pink, elderflower scented flowers in summer, which may be followed by purple berries.  The feathery purple, black foliage is most attractive. Ideal at the back of a border or as a specimen shrub.  The berries should not be eaten raw.

Grow in sun or part shade, in fertile, moist, well drained soil.  H & S in 10 years up to 4m if unpruned.  H6.

Supplied in 9cm pot, ready to plant out.
