Nectaroscordum siculum
A most unusual and beautiful bulb, producing many bell-shaped, faded lilac-pink flowers, which are adored by bees and other pollinating insects. These are followed by decorative seed heads, which can only be described as the shape of a fairy castles. You need to see them to appreciate their true beauty. Ideal for florists as long lasting cut flowers and decorative seedheads.
Fully hardy and easy to grow in a sunny border, pots with added drainage, or in a wildflower meadow. They self seed, giving you more flowers each year. Deer, rabbit and slug resistant!
Up to 80 cm tall. Plant 15 cm deep in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny position.
