Colocasia ‘Red Eyed Gecko’

A stunning perennial with bright green heart shaped leaves, each having a red marking in the centre.

Although this is not hardy, it is so eye catching in a tropical or bog garden, it is worth lifting it to bring inside during winter.

Requires warm, constantly moist, humus rich soil.  Sun or part shade.  Feed monthly in the growing season to encourage lush growth.

Ideal for pond edges or bog gardens and can be grown in a pot, standing in a tray of water, making it easier to move to a frost free place in autumn.

Grows to approximately 1 meter high x 60 cm – 120 cm spread.
