Courgette ‘Best of British’

An excellent variety of glossy, dark green, spine free courgettes, producing delicious fruits that can be eaten raw in salads, lightly steamed, roasted or stir fried.  Highly nutritious and a good source of Vitamin C.

The plants have an open habit, which makes them less likely to get mildew than other varieties.  Plant in a sunny open site and water well.  Pick the fruits when they are the size of a sausage, for best flavour.  Leave them on the grow large for a marrow.
